Giving Back

At Capital Contracting Services, community engagement, philanthropy, and investing in the future of skilled trades are integral components of our corporate values. We are committed to giving back to the communities that support us, fostering talent through apprenticeship programs, and actively participating in charitable initiatives.

Capital Contracting Services is highly engaged in the local community and understands the importance of supporting various charitable organizations. We firmly believe that by contributing to the betterment of society, we can create a positive impact beyond our business operations.

Ways We Support

One of the charitable events we eagerly support is McDonald’s McHappy Day, which most recently took place on May 8, 2024. This event holds significant importance as it aims to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities, supporting families with sick children by providing a home away from home during their treatment. Capital Contracting Services is proud to be part of such a meaningful cause, and we actively participate in fundraising efforts to support this initiative.

Additionally, we are honoured to contribute to the Cam’s Kids Foundation on an annual basis. The Cam’s Kids Foundation is dedicated to providing support, resources, and programs for young people struggling with anxiety. We recognize the importance of mental health awareness and are committed to supporting organizations like Cam’s Kids Foundation that work tirelessly to improve the well-being of individuals in our community

In conjunction with Cam’s Kids, Capital Contracting proudly supports Kids Help Phone in their mission to provide vital mental health resources to young people across Canada. Our sponsorship helps enable the Cam’s Kids program, which focuses on training young ambassadors to provide peer support and foster safe, supportive environments. Since its inception, Cam’s Kids has trained over 150 students with mental health certifications and over 2,100 ambassadors. Kids Help Phone, a leader in e-mental health care for youth, continues to be a trusted resource, having supported young people nearly 16 million times since the onset of COVID-19. Together, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of Canadian youth.

Capital Contracting Services believes in the power of collective action and understands that even small contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.

In addition to our support for sports teams, we also donate to local initiatives such as the Bobcaygeon Food Bank and the Municipality of Trent Lakes Rural Outreach Program. We understand the importance of addressing food insecurity and supporting our rural communities, and we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need. Through our ongoing support of charitable organizations, apprenticeship programs, youth sports, and local initiatives, we strive to create a positive impact and foster a sense of community solidarity.

Thank you for considering our commitment to community engagement, philanthropy, and investing in the future of skilled trades. Should you require any further information or wish to collaborate on charitable initiatives, apprenticeship programs, or community sponsorships, please do not hesitate to contact us.
